The Syracuse Orange will officially cap off its time at the 2025 Players Era Tournament versus another top program from the Big 12.
Late on Wednesday morning, the tournament announced Syracuse will be matching
up versus No. 15 Iowa State. The news came with several Players Era games still going on.
Tip-off between the Orange and Cyclones is set for 1 p.m. EST at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Fans can watch the game live on TNT.
Syracuse is currently 0-2 in Players Era with a four-point loss in overtime versus No. 3 Houston followed by an 11-point defeat to Kansas. This will be the Orange’s third-straight matchup versus a Big 12 team and also its third chance at beating a Quad 1 opponent. Looking ahead, Syracuse will also soon face off against No. 17 Tennessee, meaning it will officially face four consecutive Q1 opponents.
As for Iowa State, it has won both of its games in the tournament so far. That includes a narrow one-point win over No. 14 St. John’s and an 18-point victory over Creighton.
The Players Era Men’s Championship will be between Gonzaga and Michigan.
