The New York Giants are signing former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris, per Mike Garafolo. Harris visited with the Giants yesterday and will now be joining the team. The terms of the deal are yet to be known.
Harris was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft and rushed for 1,000 yards in each of his four seasons in Pittsburgh, never missing a game. He signed with the Los Angeles Chargers ahead of the 2025 season after the Steelers declined to pick up his fifth-year
option before the 2024 campaign.
Unfortunately for Harris, his stint with the Chargers would be short-lived. He appeared in just three games before tearing his Achilles, ending his season. He now joins his former rival, John Harbaugh, who took over as head coach of the Giants after being fired by the Baltimore Ravens.
