The first two games of this series went just about how everyone expected. Cade Povich struggled against one of the best lineups in baseball, while Trevor Rogers continued to look like the best pitcher in the game. If the pitching matchups continue to hold true, it could be a long day for the Orioles.
Tomoyuki Sugano (10-8, 4.39 ERA) will take on Carlos Rodón (16-9, 3.11 ERA) tonight at Camden Yards. Sugano held Toronto to one run over six innings last week, but Rodón has put together one of his better
seasons in New York.
Jackson Holliday will look to set the tone at the top of Baltimore’s lineup. He’ll be followed by Jordan Westburg, Gunnar Henderson, and left fielder Tyler O’Neill. Ryan Mountcastle will slot in as the DH, and Coby Mayo will play first base. Jeremiah Jackson and Jorge Mateo will join O’Neill in the outfield. Alex Jackson will catch Sugano.
