Out on the West Coast, Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodriguez combined for two 8th inning doubles to win a tense, low-scoring game for the Mariners 3-2. They’ve evened up the series against the Tigers, who head back to Detroit having not won a game in front of the hometown fans since September 6.
Tonight, it’s back to the National League. Dodgers-Phillies will occupy the dinner time slot, with Blake Snell and Jesus Luzardo facing off. Then it’s Cubs-Brewers for dessert.
