Women’s pro basketball never stops.
A second, successful Unrivaled season is in the books. A new Athletes Unlimited champion was recently crowned. The stage is set for EuroLeague Women’s Final Six. Hopefully, the 3oth WNBA season will tip off on May 8.
And before long, Project B will be part of this bustling landscape. Specifically, in the city of Valencia.
Today, Project B has announced that Valencia’s Roig Arena will host an event that will tip off on March 12, 2027 and continue through March 22.
The stop will coincide with Las Fallas, the annual cultural festival that features art, fireworks and other celebrations. Games played in Valencia also will be available to fans around the globe via YouTube and other online platforms.
Project B’s partnership with Roig Arena is a multi-year deal, suggesting Valencia will be a prominent stop for the international league that has signed 10 players with WNBA experience: Nneka Ogwumike, Alyssa Thomas, Jonquel Jones, Jewell Loyd, Sophie Cunningham, Kamilla Cardoso, Leonie Fiebich, Li Meng, Janelle Salaün and Kelsey Mitchell.
Previously, Project B announced that Tokyo Arena will host a 10-day event beginning March 26, 2027. The league’s inaugural season, which is slated to begin in November 2026, is expected to include seven stops.
