Now that the trade deadline madness is over with, it is time to play ball. The Nats will look to snap their 5 game losing streak tonight in a matchup with the Phillies. There will be a few new faces in there after the trade deadline.
Blake Butera is rolling out a lefty heavy lineup, with Jacob Young being the only true righty. Abimelec Ortiz is back in the show after the Garcia trade and will get an extended run. He is hitting second and playing first. Andrew Alvarez will be on the mound.
The Phillies have a lot of the same faces as always with the likes of Turner, Schwarber and Harper. New addition Luis Arraez won’t arrive until tomorrow, which is good for now. Veteran starter Aaron Nola is on the bump.
