Bayern Munich loanees had another busy week with a lot of loanees playing in Europe midweek. We also saw a couple loanees come back from injury, some still missing time, and a couple new injuries coming up. See how each loanee performed this week and where the teams in Europe stand going into the second leg this week.

There are 11 players from on loan from the first team.
Germany – Bundesliga
There are three players from the first team on loan to the German Bundesliga: Alexander Nübel, Arijon Ibrahimović, and Armando Sieb.
Alexander Nübel – VfB Stuttgart
Nübel started for Stuttgart at home against FC Porto in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16. He allowed two early goals — including one goal that was deemed to be his error that led to it — in the first half to put his team down 2-0, but kept the guests off the board for the rest of the match. He had four saves on the day. Stuttgart cut the lead to one by halftime and thought they had an equalizer in the 70th, but it was taken back by VAR. They fell 2-1 with a trip to Portugal coming up next week.
In Bundesliga play, Stuttgart hosted RB Leipzig on Sunday. Nübel started again and had a much better match. He again recorded four saves and shut Leipzig out for the whole match — earning the highest ranking of either team. A first half goal by Stuttgart was the only goal in the match and led to the 1-0 home win for Stuttgart.
Stuttgart will have the return leg on Thursday against FC Porto in Portugal. They will travel to face FC Augsburg in league play on Sunday.
Arijon Ibrahimović – 1. FC Heidenheim
Ibrahimović started for Heidenheim on the road against Eintracht Frankfurt. He did not have a very productive match, recording very few stats in his 63 minutes on the pitch — no shots, no chances created, and only nine passes attempted. He was subbed off due to an injury with his team down 1-0. Heidenheim could not find an equalizer — despite being up a man for the last 15 minutes — and fell 1-0.
Heidenheim host Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday. We will monitor Ibrahimović’s injury status.

He completed 89% of his passes and saw his team pull back one more consolation goal before the end of the match. Spurs fell 5-2 with a big hill to climb in the second leg.
Palhinha missed Tottenham’s 1-1 draw away to Liverpool. He was listed on the injury report with a concussion.
