Earlier today, the NFL announced that they’ll play a 2026 regular season game in Madrid, Spain, and a game in Paris, France, which brings the confirmed number of such games in the league’s International Series to eight.
The NFL will also play a game in Melbourne, Australia, one game in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, one in Munich, Germany, and three games in London, U.K.
The Chicago Bears have nine home games this season, so technically the NFL could have the Bears host a game in one of these markets, and
there’s a lot of buzz that they get the nod for a game in Spain this upcoming season.
All 32 franchises now have International Markets assigned to them, with Chicago’s being Spain and the United Kingdom.
The Bears share marketing rights in Spain with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins, and they share the U.K. rights with the Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, and the San Francisco 49ers.
