It was an interesting press conference for the incoming Purdue AD. He said all the right things. Except for one thing. Unfortunately, everyone only remembers the one thing. So that’s bad. But hey, we can turn this into a good thing right? You go on ESPN and talk about it, you raise your profile and you hope that you can bring some attention to Purdue and raise roughly $2 billion? That’s the goal right? All part of the plan!
Ryan and I also at least get to talk about one good thing as Purdue’s very
own Drew Brees is now in the NFL Hall of Fame and he shouted Purdue out quite heavily. You love to see it.
Finally, Ryan and I discuss the 6th game of the Purdue football season with the Minnesota Golden Gophers coming into Ross-Ade Stadium for a game that I truly think Purdue has a chance to win. Remember, they almost won last year despite 4, count ‘em 4, turnovers including a pick 6. Can Purdue find a way to get a conference win?
