WWE just finished its new Wrestlepalooza premium live event from Indianapolis, the first PLE to stream on ESPN’s new subscription service as part of a huge new deal with the Disney-owned brand. The inaugural ‘Palooza closed the night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse by shaking off ring rust to retain the Undisputed WWE title against Drew McIntyre.
Was the main event the best match on the card?
There were four other options to award that honor to. You could pick Brock Lesnar’s squash of John Cena, or the triumphant
return of AJ Lee beside her husband (CM Punk). Stephanie Vaquer claimed the Women’s World title by beating two-time holder of that title, IYO SKY. And Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed ruined The Usos first match together in two years.
