The Hardys got extreme for the main event of Impact (Apr. 9, 2026). Matt and Jeff defended the TNA World Tag Team Championship against the Righteous in a tables match.
To win this tables match, both opponents must be driven through tables. The flow of the action teased several table spots, but they were often thwarted. For example, Matt hit the Twist of Fate on Vincent early. When Matt climbed the corner, Vincent rolled off the table. Matt crashed through the wood on a flying elbow drop. Being that
this disaster was of his own doing, it doesn’t count as a table spot to eliminate him.
It wouldn’t be a tables match without a ladder, right? In a funny moment, Jeff pulled out a tall ladder, but Vincent was having none of that. He bashed the ladder with a chair to make sure it wouldn’t stand up straight. The fans were not happy.
The first official table spots were bang bang for Dutch and Matt. Dutch set Jeff up on a table outside. He climbed for a flying splash. Matt hugged Dutch for defense to prevent the maneuver. Jeff joined his brother to lift Dutch for a double press slam through the table. Vincent quickly smashed Matt off the apron crashing through another table.
The finish was a battle between Jeff and Vincent. Both men dodged each other’s Swanton Bomb on the mat. Vincent went outside to regroup. Matt was waiting to hit him with the Twist of Fate on the floor. Matt set Vincent on the table. Jeff landed the Swanton Bomb crashing onto Vincent for the win.
The Hardys retain the tag titles and move on to defend the gold against Brian Myers and Bear Bronson at Rebellion. Even though the Righteous lost, this story seems far from over. The Righteous attacked after the match to ruin the celebration. And let’s be honest, this feud can’t end until we see a fight in the Broken Universe.
TNA posted the full tables match for your viewing pleasure.
