What is the story about?

The main goal leading into the regular season for any team is to gain rhythm and to be healthy. The Pittsburgh Steelers are dealing with a few injuries, as are many teams across the NFL. The team’s top two receivers sat out on Monday. Although D.K. Metcalf wasn’t reported as injured, but more of a veteran day. Still, Michael Pittman, Jr. is dealing with a leg injury suffered during the Steelers Saturday Night Lights practice.

The opportunity is there for Germie Bernard and Roman Wilson. A very good

week of practice and a nice showing against Green Bay, and the young receivers can push for playing time. The eyes will be on the quarterbacks against the Packers as Will Howard and Drew Allar continue to battle it out.
