Indiana’s 13-10 win over Ohio State in the Big Ten Football Championship game on Saturday night didn’t come without a few loose ends.
A few Hoosiers were in and out of the game with seemingly some injury issues with wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr., defensive back Louis Moore and defensive lineman Mikail Kamara being among them. It was lost some in the furor of the win, but was revisited the next day during Curt Cignetti’s media availability ahead of the postseason.
Indiana’s head coach was asked about
Cooper Jr. in particular and noted they’ll know more about his status with time but added an extra note:
“We don’t expect it to be anything,” Cignetti said. “We don’t think there was anything that happened in the game that will affect our next game.”
That seems to speak to Cignetti’s confidence in the health of his roster as a whole and is more than welcome to Indiana fans.
The Hoosiers will play in the 2026 Rose Bowl on January 1 in Pasadena, California.
