What is the story about?
Good Friday morning Dawg fans! We have some news on the recruiting front so we’ll start with that first!
Football Dots
- The Huskies have secured verbal commitments from two brothers from St. John Bosco High School in California. Justin and Ethan Coach are both linebackers and both ranked in the top 50 in the country at the position, per 247Sports. Our own Aaron Sieverkropp has more on these linebacking brothers!
- Jon Wilner has an inside look at the Big Ten’s role in Demond Williams’ transfer portal entry and subsequent exit.
- Caple takes a look at what positions are the most stable heading into 2026 at On Montlake. ($).
Basketball Dots
- The Huskies fell below .500 with a loss to Penn State on Wednesday. Our own Andrew Berg has more on this upset.
Throwback Game of The Week
In 2009, the Huskies went 5-7, a year after posting an 0-12 season with a loss to the previously 0-11 Cougars, in a game that remains the most tragically boring football game I think I’ve ever seen! In this edition, behind a friendly home crowd, with Jake Locker at the controls, the Dawgs dominated, pitching a 30-0 shutout, and giving 10 year old me hope that “you know, this Sark guy might work
out after all!”
That’s all we have for today, so thank you for making Dots a part of your morning, and as always, Go Dawgs!
