Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano – The Mexican player had been let go from San Diego after only one season. Unfortunately the player had not made the impact the front office expected. He was good but the club needed him to be great. Then the player had attitude issues which was the final nail in the coffin for the player.
Hector Herrera – Houston Dynamo – After a stint back in Liga MX with Toluca, the veteran made his way back to the MLS with his former club Houston. It was a surprise he would return to the Dynamo after the way he left after he was suspended for spitting at a referee. With his return it seemed that Dynamo and Herrera left that situation in the past and will now focus on the future.

The youngster was sent to the second division team to earn more minutes but unfortunately those minutes have not been so consistent.

With only a few months away from the World Cup, Jimenez is one of two strikers that are currently in form for Mexico.

While some have criticized Pineda for his role with the Mexican National Team, the Mexican player continues to play an important role with Athens as the league moves towards the end of the season.

Johan Vasquez – Genoa vs. Parma

The first part of the season did not go well for Vasquez and the team as they were in a relegation battle but since the change at head coach things have changed. Genoa is still near the bottom of the table and will have to fight every game as they are only five points away from the relegation zone.
Santiago Gimenez – AC Milan – Still recovering from ankle surgery.
Russian Premier League
Luis Chavez – Dynamo Moscow – Continues to recover from an ACL injury as the player is hopeful to be ready in time for the World Cup.
Cesar Montes – Lokomotiv Moscow – Still on winter break.
Super Liga
Rodrigo Huescas – FC Copenhagen – Is back in Mexico for the next part of his recovery after his ACL injury.
Cypriot First Division
Guillermo Ochoa – AEL Limassol vs. Akritas Chlorakas

The goalkeeper has won the starting role at his club but that doesn’t look to help him with the Mexican National Team as the veteran looks to make another World Cup.

After the youngster’s arrival, the coach that brought him over was fired for only winning two games out of eight. Even with a coaching change Araujo has already made his start with the club and hopes to make a final push for the World Cup this summer.

Quiñones is one of two strikers currently in form for Mexico. Raul Jimenez is the other. Just this week the player scored a hat-trick and it would be an error if he isn’t on the roster for the World Cup this summer.

Edson Alvarez – Fenerbahçe – The Mexican captain is still recovering from injury, but he added another trophy to his collection after the team won the Turkish Super Cup Final.
