The Cleveland Browns bounced back after a 34-10 loss in Week 1 to the Jacksonville Jaguars by defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-19 to get to 1-1.
After the Browns’ Week 1 loss, former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin appeared to take glee in the fact that Cleveland was blown out.
“In the words of my friend JuJu Smith-Schuster, the Browns is the Browns,” Tomlin said on the Week 1 edition of Football Night in America.
Browns head coach Todd Monken took exception to this comment and took a jab
at the words of Tomlin following Cleveland’s Week 2 win.
“The Browns are gonna Browns – f—k that,” Monken said. “The guys took that to heart.”
The Steelers and Browns will face one another for the first time in Week 4 on Thursday Night Football, with Pittsburgh traveling to Cleveland.
