What is the story about?

Royals
5, Rangers 2
- Oh, hey, a solid starting effort going to waste because the offense isn’t productive. That’s a new one.
- A whopping four hits.
- You know what’s funny is, Merrill Kelly only allowed two hits in this game. Of course, they were both homers.
- Kelly apparently had to leave after the sixth inning because of cramping. That led to Hoby Milner allowing three hits to start the seventh and getting yanked, then Cole Winn hitting the first batter he faced to force in a run.
- Winn allowed a two run homer in the eighth, as well. Not that I think any of us was feeling optimistic about tying things up in the ninth anyway.
- Corey Seager and Joc Pederson homering was fun at least.
- Merrill Kelly topped out at 93.6 mph with his sinker. Hoby Milner touched 89.3 mph with his sinker. Cole Winn maxed out at 97.2 mph with his fastball.
- Joc Pederson had a 109.3 mph line out, a 108.8 mph ground out, and a 107.5 mph home run. Corey Seager had a 104.6 mph home run. Marcus Semien had a 100.4 mph fly out.
- Two more games on this wretched road trip.
