The Washington Wizards are acquiring Tre Mann, a 2027 second-rounder from the Clippers and cash for Cam Whitmore, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The Wizards also are sending Julian Reese to the Nuggets,
who will waive Reese off his two-way deal, according to ESPN’s report.
Mann is a 25-year-old shooting guard who averaged 5.5 points on 32.3% 3PT with Charlotte last season. The 6-foot-4 guard is owed $8 million during the 2026-27 season and then has an $8M team option for 2027-28.
This trade gives the Wizards another depth guard option behind Trae Young, Tre Johnson and Bub Carrington.
Whitmore missed most of last season with deep vein thrombosis in his shoulder. Washington acquired the 22-year-old forward from the Houston Rockets in July 2025 for two second-round picks.
Reese spent last season on a two-way contracted. He started 10 games for Washington in a brief stint that included a 26-point, 17-rebound showing against the Utah Jazz.
