The Wisconsin Badgers didn’t have the best weekend on the field, getting blown out in a 27-10 loss to the Maryland Terrapins in Week 3.
Still, it was a big recruiting weekend for the team, and one that included 2028 five-star edge rusher Jayden Bell.
Bell, a 6’4, 210-pound pass rusher from Michigan, was in attendance for Wisconsin’s Week 3 game and received an offer from the Badgers afterwards, marking his 12th overall offer.
Currently ranked the No. 17 player in the Class of 2028 by the 247Sports Composite,
Bell is considered the No. 3 edge rusher in his cycle.
Bell is an elite athlete, running track while also playing tight end for Brother Rice High School, in addition to being a top edge rusher. He has picked up offers from schools like Alabama, Pitt, Vanderbilt, Michigan State, Purdue, and others, while being on the radar of several top-tier teams around the nation.
Wisconsin still has work to do in its 2026 recruiting class, but it’s also focusing forward on the 2027 and 2028 classes, with Bell being a top player in the latter group.
