Casey O’Neill is back with a vengeance.
It’s been almost 600 days since O’Neill’s last fight and she made up for lost time in a major way, running through Gabriella Fernandes with a flurry of punches in the opening round to score a knockout victory at UFC Seattle on Saturday.

The closing sequence was started off by a counter left that badly jarred Fernandes.
O’Neill immediately recognized that Fernandes was hurt and pressed forward with a flurry of punches. With multiple unprotected blows landing, Fernandes looked like she was only being held up by the fence, and referee Mike Beltran was right there for the timely stoppage.
The official time of the finish was 3:11 into Round 1.
O’Neill (11-2) has seen her career slowed by a number of injuries and Saturday marked her first fight since a win over Luana Santos at UFC 305 in August 2024. Still just 28, O’Neill is now 6-2 in the UFC and has plenty of time to make her mark in the 125-pound division.
On the other side, Fernandes (11-4) sees a three-fight win streak snapped.
