Indiana men’s basketball is set to host yet another high major backcourt prospect out of the transfer portal for a visit this weekend, per reporting from Sam Kayser of League Ready.
Darren Harris, a rising junior guard out of Duke, will be in Bloomington for an official visit starting on Saturday. After that, he has a visit scheduled at Virginia. He was previously a 4-star recruit out of Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Virginia in the class of 2024. He ranked in as the 11th highest rated
small forward and 39th highest rated prospect overall in the class.
Harris saw minimal playing time in his two seasons at Duke, averaging 3.3 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.4 assists while shooting 36.3% from the field and 33.3% from 3-point range in just 9.7 minutes per game this past season. He played six minutes per game as a freshman in 2024-25.
He was known for strong 3-point shooting as a prospect, could Darian DeVries get more out of him at Indiana?
