The Steelers are in the midst of a short week before playing in Cincinnati on Thursday night. While the team is getting healthier, one offensive player may still miss the game.
Wide receiver Calvin Austin
missed Tuesday’s practice with a shoulder injury suffered in London against the Vikings. Austin and defensive back Miles Killebrew (knee) were the only two players to not practice due to injury. Killebrew is out with what is considered a significant injury.
Cornerback Jalen Ramsey, safety DeShon Elliott, defensive lineman Cam Heyward, and linebacker T.J. Watt all rested and sat out of practice. Corner Darius Slay was the same in a limited capacity.
Linebacker Malik Harrison, currently on IR, was a limited participant and is making his way back from a knee injury. The Steelers have activated his 21-day window.
Pittsburgh will practice again tomorrow before traveling to Cincinnati. The Steelers are 0-6 under Mike Tomlin against the AFC North on Thursday night. The Steelers lead the division and can grow their lead, improving to 5-1 this week.
