Taj Bradley struggled to miss bats in his last outing,
unless you count walks as missing bats. Either way, two strikeouts against the Mariners was a far cry from 10 strikeouts against the Royals, although both starts were quality and four of Bradley’s last five outings have met the same criteria. One of Bradley’s tougher recent tests will come in the form of Milwaukee’s first-place lineup, who showed everything they can do and then some in the first game of this set.
Milwaukee will start relative newbie Robert Gasser, a lefty making his 20th start tonight despite appearances in three big-league seasons. Gasser likes him his sweeper/sinker mix and has been able to limit hard-hit balls while staying in the zone, walking only three total hitters across his five most recent appearances.
