Chelsea went into the international break on the back of a 3-0 win over Wolves, and though we may be separated by two weeks from that result, we can still stick to the old adage of never changing a winning combination since that’s still our last game.
And so, for the WAGNH Community, there’s no need to change that lineup … with the one exception of preferring Reece James over Malo Gusto (50%) at right back. Otherwise, the people’s choice is the same as Maresca’s choice in that game, including in attack
where João Pedro plays in support of Liam Delap, flanked by wingers Pedro Neto and Alejandro Garnacho.
There almost was another deviation, but it’s really hard to not pick Moisés Caicedo, so he sneaks in to partner Enzo Fernández in midfield as usual.
In general, the voting percentages are a bit down, since this game is, in theory, a fair bit easier than the other two coming up. Good thing we’re rested up (well, mostly)! Those coming close to starts include Estêvão (45%), Josh Acheampong (41%), and Andrey Santos (44%). If Maresca wants to rotate, they may be prime candidates for that.
4-2-3-1 (87%)
Sánchez (96%) | Cucurella (63%), Chalobah (83%), Fofana (66%), James (71%) | Enzo (89%), Caicedo (54%) | Garnacho (81%), João Pedro (78%), Neto (71%) | Delap (78%)
