Celebrity boxer Tommy Fury will box strongman Eddie Hall as part of the upcoming Misfits Boxing fight card on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) on June 13 at AO Arena in Manchester. Both combatants were on hand earlier today for the promotion’s kickoff press conference, which included their first official face off.

Fury (11-0)
has not competed since capturing a unanimous decision victory over Kenan Hanjalic last May. As for Hall is 1-1 in two attempts at fighting (not including this massacre), losing a decision to Thor Bjornsson in early 2022 before stopping Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105 last April.
“I bumped into John (Fury) and I had the conversation about fighting Tyson, I saw he was training MMA,” Hall explained on YouTube. “I was trying to instigate the fight, but it rubbed him up the wrong way. Things got a little heated. I basically said in the end, you’re all full of s—t. You’re just all full of f—king talk. You all walk around like hard men like you’re gonna beat this guy down, beat that guy down, you’ll fight anyone, you’re fighting men.”
“There’s not a lot of action, especially from John,” Hall added. “I’d like to shut [John] up and put [Tommy] in [his] place, and then maybe I’ll get the Tyson Fury MMA fight. Sorry it has come to this, but sometimes men have to settle their differences. This is not a friendly encounter. I want to go in there and prove a point.”
I guess we can finally say goodbye to this fight.
