Breece Hall is back with the Jets on a new three year contract. He will serve as the Jets’ top running back just as he has since his rookie year.
Things are less clear at the position after Hall. A pair of third year backs will be in the mix to serve as Hall’s primary backup. They are Braelon
Allen and Isaiah Davis.
Allen has broken training camp ahead of Davis the last two years, but a 2025 injury opened the door for Davis to receive more playing time, and he responded with a 5.5 yards per carry average on 43 carries. That’s a very good number for a change of pace back getting limited snaps.
This week in our SB Nation Reacts survey, we ask who you think will claim the primary backup spot to Hall. Will it be Allen or Davis? Vote in our poll below, and we will bring the results in a few days.
