Nebraska took down the Creighton Bluejays in a border battle the last time they were on the hardwood. The 84-50 victory saw some highlights, including a 3/4 court buzzer beater from Jessica Petrie, that
found its way on Sports Center’s Top 10 at #3. Britt Prince once again neared the 20 point mark, falling just shy with 18, but did have one of the nastiest crossovers I’ve ever seen. Then the freshman, Alanna Neale, getting her first points of her young career with a three. The Huskers are heading up north to take on North Dakota State, but will be playing at the Sanford Pentagon in South Dakota.
The Nebraska men just defeated Oklahoma 105-99 the previous night, hopefully they left some magic in the building for the women.

Head Coach: Jory Collins (Emporia State, 2002)
Seventh Season at NDSU (100-83); 15th Season Overall (299-140)
Scouting the Bison
Head Coach, Jory Collins, is in search of his 300th career win as a collegiate coach. Collins collected his 100th win as NDSU’s coach Monday in a 84-60 win over Concordia-Moorhead.
Returning first-team All-Summit League forward, Avery Koenen, is returning to the Bison as their leader. The junior is already averaging team bests 14.7 points and 8.0 rebounds through three games. A year ago, Koenen produced 14.5 points and 7.9 rebounds, hitting 52.3 percent of her shots from the floor.
Fellow juniors Molly Lenz (8.2 ppg) and Abby Krzewinski (8.0 ppg) return to the starting lineup as well. Lenz, who led NDSU with 49 made three pointers last season, is already averaging 10.3 ppg. Krzewinski, added 46 made threes last year, but has only connected on 2 of 11 so far this year.
Marisa Frost was a key contributor of the best last year as a freshman, averaging 9.9 points while hitting 36 percent of her attempts from long range. The sophomore has joined the starting lineup, but has hit just 1 of 9 from distance early in the season. Frost is averaging 7.3 points and a team best 3.7 assists so far.
Newcomer Jocelyn Schiller is coming from rival North Dakota, hoping to make a big impact with her play. Schiller is averaging 12.3 points and 3.0 assists on the early season. Alongside her is redshirt freshman, Karrington Asp, who is averaging 10.3 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
