VEB is adding some serious firepower to its lineup. Starting today, we are thrilled to announce that the Redbird Rundown Podcast and its full network of shows are officially joining the Viva El Birdos family! Scott, Matt, and Jonathan will be bringing their talents to SB Nation and VEB, bringing a plethora of even more St. Louis Cardinals content to you all!
A rebuild of sorts
Brothers Matt and Jonathan have spent the last year building Redbird Rundown into a must-listen for Cardinals fans, blending deep-dive analysis
and Taco Bell spice packet takes with the kind of nerdy niche references we love here at VEB. In January, the crew grew even stronger when they brought our very own Scott (MrPlaztastic) into the fold full-time. With Scott came his signature show, Cardinals on My Time, and the fan-favorite Random Cardinal of the Week, hosted by his brother, Jim. Together, the guys hope to become the premier destination for every type of St. Louis fan, from the casual observer to the die-hard stat-head, and VEB is ready to support that mission.
Not much is going to change for you! Redbird Rundown will continue to post to its own pages on Apple, Spotify, and YouTube. However, VEB will now serve as the home for every episode. Whenever a new show drops, you’ll find a dedicated post right here on the VEB main page featuring a summary of the episode and direct links to listen. Jake took the time in last night’s reader mailbag episode to break the news, and hopefully excite our committed readers and fans from the site.
