Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (31-44/36-22)
BUFFALO 4, SYRACUSE 3 (BOX)
Ryan Clifford and Carson Benge drove in a run apiece in the top of the first to give Syracuse an early lead, and Benge added another RBI in the fifth, but the rehabbing Tylor Megill had one bad inning and gave all of that hard work right back. The right-hander tossed four strong innings to start the ballgame but gave up a run in the fifth and then had two inherited runners score after he was removed, tying things up at 3-3. Both bullpens kept things locked down, but in the bottom
of the ninth, Douglas Orellana gave up a walk-off homer to the first batter he faced.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (45-22*/38-20)
BINGHAMTON 6, AKRON 1 (BOX)
Jonathan Santucci was quite good for Binghamton last night, throwing six strong innings and recovering from a poor outing last time around. The southpaw scattered 6 hits and struck out six, but more important is something he didn’t do: Santucci did not walk a single batter, the first time since July 4th that his ledger was clean in that regard. The surging Rumble Ponies offense scored him plenty of runs, and the left-hander won his fourth game with Binghamton.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (46-20*/25-36)
JERSEY SHORE 4, BROOKLYN 3 (BOX)
It was a messy, dragged out affair for both teams- 17 combined hits, 11 combined walks, 7 combined errors, 10 different pitchers for both sides- but the Blue Claws found themselves on top in the end. With the score tied at 2-2, Jersey Shore scored a pair in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead. Brooklyn recouped one of those in the seventh, but couldn’t get anything going for the rest of the ballgame.

Single-A: St. Lucie Mets (34-31*/42-19)
ST. LUCIE 11, FORT MYERS 6 (BOX)
Another messy slobber knocker, but this time, the Mets affiliate stood tall. In the first half of the ballgame, both teams were fairly evenly matched, but St. Lucie hit their stride in the later innings, feasting on the Fort Myers relievers. Mitch Voit was one of the many St. Lucie hitters who came alive in the second half of the game, going 3-3 with 2 walks, 4 stolen bases, socking his first professional homer in the fifth. Also notable in this game, 18-year-old Bruin Agbayani- son of former Met Benny Agbayani- made his professional debut, going 2-5 for the Mighty Muscles.
