Ken’s Note: Two things to keep in mind if you read it, steel slag, if it’s Air-Cooled Blast Furnace Slag, isn’t toxic. So a mound of it is a mound of a type of hard rock . That
slag is commonly used in roads, concrete and all kinds of infrastructure as an ingredient. Bio-solids from treated human waste are commonly used as fertilizer to grow the food we all eat.
