Cleveland Browns head coach Todd Monken may not like hearing it, but on Sunday it sure looked like the Browns is still the Browns.
The Browns had a perfect opportunity to extend their winning streak to four games and set up a massive showdown at home in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, only for the offense to fall flat and the special teams to make mistakes at the worst possible times.
Throw in that wide receiver KC Concepcion was the latest victim of a Minkah Fitzpatrick cheap shot, and that running
back Quinshon Judkins and linebacker Carson Schwesinger were both seen in walking boots after the game, and it was another depressing afternoon for the guys in Orange and Brown.
The key now is to regroup, remember it is just one loss, and get ready for the Ravens so it does not turn into a losing streak. They did it after the Week 1 disaster against Jacksonville; now can they do it again?
If not, then the cries of “the Browns is the Browns” will become louder. Whether Monken and the team like it or not.
Onward to today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Chow.
