Start fast offensively
Nix and the Broncos offense finally clicked in the second half against the Jacksonville Jaguars. There was great balance with the run and pass game; Nix was throwing to the middle of the field, and Davis Webb got into a rhythm with his playcalls. Now do that from the first drive of the game and stay consistent throughout. Denver’s offense has the potential to do it; now, just make it happen. Given how dangerous and explosive Stafford and the LA offense are, the Broncos must start fast. — Ian St. Clair
Get pressure on Stafford
We just watched the Rams passing attack without Puca Nacua, and it was pretty scary. The best way to help keep Davante Adams in check (and Nacua if he’s healthy) is to make Matthew Stafford uncomfortable. — Adam Malnati
Score more points than the Rams

Contain the short, quick passing game
I feel like the Rams feast on the short-pass game, and that is an area the Broncos defense struggled with at times last year. For me, the pass rush will be a critical component of success in this matchup, and they have to show up and put Matthew Stafford on skates. — Tim Lynch
Establish the run
The Broncos gained over 100 yards on the ground against the Jaguars. To limit the impact of Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ offense, Denver needs to be committed to the run on Sunday Night Football and control the pace of the game. I was impressed with Offensive Coordinator Davis Webb’s halftime adjustments. The Broncos ran the ball efficiently under center. In turn, that also helped Bo Nix play better. Achieving this will help them sustain long drives and keep Stafford and his top-tier playmakers on the sidelines. — Christopher Hart
