Major League Baseball on Tuesday announced rosters for the 2026 Arizona Fall League, which will run from October 3 through November 13. Outfielders Eduardo Quintero and Charles Davalan, both top-100 prospects in baseball, are among the Dodgers slated to play for the Glendale Desert Dogs.
When Baseball America revised their prospect rankings after the trade deadline in August, Quintero was rated 16th overall and Davalan 89th. Both lead the Midwest League in several categories in leading the High-A
Great Lakes Loons to the playoffs. Quintero and Davalan were promoted to Tulsa on Sunday, and Quintero homered in his first game in Double-A. Both will help the Drillers in the Texas League playoffs beginning Tuesday night, one night before Quintero’s 21st birthday.
Also included on Dodgers on Glendale’s roster are four pitchers and two position players, all of whom missed significant time this season on the injured list:
Luke Fox: Limited to just 27 1/3 innings with Tulsa, the left-hander missed nearly four months with a hamstring injury before returning in August, only to re-injure himself in his second start back and miss another week and a half.
Brooks Auger: Missed the first month after pulling a groin in spring training, then struck out 33.5 percent of batters faced in 59 2/3 innings for Great Lakes.
Cody Morse: Left-hander limited to just 29 innings in relief for Great Lakes after missing three months on the injured list from the last week of April to the last week of July.
Marlon Nieves: 21-year-old won California League pitcher of the week in April, then soon missed 10 weeks on the injured list until July. Had 5.22 ERA in 50 innings for Class-A Ontario with 57 strikeouts and 41 walks, but only two home runs allowed.
Third baseman Chase Harlan, the Dodgers’ third-round pick out of high school in 2024, will play for Glendale. Harlan split time between Ontario and Great Lakes, hitting a combined .298/.403/.509 with 14 home runs and a 132 wRC+ in 86 games, and just turned 20 in July. Harlan last played on August 8, and spent the final month of the season on the injured list.
Switch-hitting catcher Anson Aroz, drafted in the 19th round in 2025 out of Oregon, hit a combined .256/.395/.391 with a 110 wRC+ between Ontario and Great Lakes, with most of the damage coming with the Tower Buzzers in Class-A. Aroz also missed two months on the injured list from June to August.
The Glendale Desert Dogs play at Camelback Ranch and are comprised of prospects from the Dodgers, White Sox, Marlins, Pirates, and White Sox. Ontario manager John Shoemaker, the Dodgers’ captain of player development in his 50th year in the organization, will manage Glendale in the AFL.
Old friend Zyhir Hope, traded to the Detroit Tigers in the Tarik Skubal deal on August 2, will also play in the Arizona Fall League, for the Scottsdale Scorpions.
