The Arizona Cardinals had seven draft picks in the 2026 NFL Draft and then followed it up with seven undrafted free agents.
Over the next couple of days we will take a look at each of undrafted free agents to get to know them a bit, but also so they get their shine as well.
We kick things off with James Madison cornerback Elijah Culp.
From the team:
Elijah Culp (5-10, 189) started all 13 games at cornerback last season at James Madison and was a third-team All-Sun Belt selection. He had 46 tackles, 2.5
tackles for loss, one interception and eight passes defensed. He transferred to James Madison after playing two years (2023-24) at Charlotte following two seasons (2021-22) at Troy and one season at Austin Peay (2020). In his college career, Culp played in 44 games and had 106 tackles, three interceptions and 14 passes defensed.
Culp has been around the block, and improved and moved up in each stop, which is key to finding a guy who could potentially help out and find a spot on the roster, but for Culp, it will start with working his way to special teams and earn a chance to get on the field.
Welcome to the desert, Elijah.
