Tough loss for the Chicago Bears yesterday (9-4) against the Green Bay Packers, but the Bears will need to put it behind them and get ready for the Cleveland Browns (3-10) on Sunday, December 14.
Chicago’s
comeback in Lambeau fell short, with the Packers winning 28 to 21, and with the rematch set in two weeks in Soldier Field, the Bears will need to be laser-focused on the Browns for Week 15.
Our partners at FanDuel Sportsbook have the Bears as the early 7.5-point home favorite in the game, with the over/under at 39.5. A weather lookahead has a high only in the teens in the Windy City, so it could be another grind-it-out type of game.
With the NFC postseason teams all jumbled up, every game from here on out will be a must-win for the Bears, who are currently holding onto the final Wildcard spot.
The Browns lost their game yesterday against the Tennessee Titans, 31 to 29, and despite their poor record, Cleveland has one of the better defenses in the game. Their defense is led by the NFL’s sack leader, Myles Garrett, who just notched his 20th sack of the season, and he’s the type of player who’s capable of wrecking a game plan all by himself.
Cleveland may also have a quarterback, because rookie Shedeur Sanders had himself a big statistical game.
