If it’s almost time for European football, that can only mean one thing: the unveiling of Roma’s third kit. Rather than rolling out three new kits each season on a predetermined schedule, the Giallorossi have traditionally released their third kits before the start of European play.
We saw it last year with the club’s Shakhtar Donetsk-inspired orange-and-black kits—which strangely disappeared as soon as they were released—and today Roma continued the tradition, unveiling their new alternative looks
ahead of Thursday’s Champions League opener against Fenerbahçe.
Earlier today, the club unveiled its new third kit, their latest collaboration with Adidas. From the official press release:
AS Roma e [sic] adidas unveil the new Third kit for the 2026/27 season, inspired by Fides, the virtue associated with loyalty and unity.
For this reason, the third jersey highlights its yellow-and-red details, placing the Traditional Crest at the centre, to symbolise the defence of shared ideals of unity and trust.
The kit conveys Fides, a virtue symbolising loyalty, reflected in the jersey’s colours and details, in the team taking to the pitch, and in the fans who support it.
The shirt stands out with an elegant dark-grey colour, enhanced by woven details arranged to frame the Club crest and the adidas logo, which are highlighted by the classic yellow-and-red colour scheme. The yellow-and-red details, also featured on the sleeves, define the lettering on the back of the neck: ”LOTTA CON IL CUORE” (“FIGHT WITH HEART”), a meaningful message echoing a historic rallying cry of the Giallorossi supporters.
Given the release timing, it’s safe to assume Roma will officially debut these shirts on Thursday, during their long-awaited return to the Champions League. In the meantime, let us know what you think of Roma’s latest look!
