Kentucky Basketball continues to recruit heavily in the 2027 class as the Wildcats look to add more commitments to their recruiting class, which currently has one commitment from 5-star small forward Ryan Hampton.
According to Joe Tipton of On3, Kentucky, BYU, Texas, and Creighton are currently carrying the most momentum for Cherif Millogo.
Millogo is a 7-foot-4, 210-pound 4-star center who currently plays for St. Francis in La Cañada Flintridge, California. According to 247 Sports Composite, Millogo is ranked
No. 36 nationally, No. 5 among centers, and No. 2 overall in the state of California.
Kentucky first offered Millogo on May 22.
While those four schools currently have the early momentum, Arizona, USC, Alabama, Georgia, Nebraska and others have also offered the 7-foot-4 big man.
With Kentucky continuing to search for additional commitments, the Wildcats have also been evaluating other big men in the 2027 class.
Kentucky recently hosted 5-star center Lewis Uvwo, a 6-foot-11, 225-pound prospect ranked among the top 10 players in the class. The Wildcats are also set to host 5-star center Paul Osaruyi this weekend. Osaruyi is 6-foot-10 and 225 pounds and is considered a top-20 big man in the class.
With Kentucky already holding a commitment from Hampton, the Wildcats are continuing to pursue several highly ranked prospects as they look to add more pieces to their 2027 recruiting class.
