Among TCU’s two All-Big 12 First Team selections this season was redshirt senior linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr, a tackling machine who turned in a career season for the Horned Frogs in the fall. Elarms-Orr, who posted a career-high 130 total tackles and 60 solo stops while adding four sacks and two pass breakups, will now prepare for his professional career after announcing his declaration for the 2026 NFL Draft on Wednesday. Elarms-Orr spent two seasons at TCU after transferring in from California,
where he was named an All-Pac 12 Second Team player in 2023. Elarms-Orr led the Horned Frogs in tackles and started all 13 games for TCU in 2025.
The 6-foot-2, 235-pounder from Hayward, California played in all 13 games last season and ranked sixth on the team in tackles despite not being a starter. Playing behind Namdi Obiazor and Johnny Hodges in 2024, Elarms-Orr recorded 54 total tackles and two sacks, helping TCU finish 9-4 and win the New Mexico Bowl. A Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week recipient who will be playing in the Panini Senior Bowl later this month, Elarms-Orr had over 10 tackles in six of the team’s 13 games this season. The former Golden Bear posted a season-high 16 tackles against Baylor before recording 16 tackles again during TCU’s road victory against West Virginia.
Prior to arriving at TCU, Elarms-Orr was at California for three seasons, redshirting in 2021 before playing in 21 games over the 2022 and 2023 seasons. A four-star high school recruit and a four-star transfer prospect, Elarms-Orr signed with Cal over Arizona, Colorado, Kansas and more and chose TCU to finish his collegiate career. If he’s drafted, Elarms-Orr would be the first linebacker from TCU taken in the draft since Dee Winters (2023).
