FanDuel Odds & Thoughts
Note:
FanDuel does not yet have odds for the San Diego State game, so check back later this week.
Utah State vs Vanderbilt: +22.5, O/U 59.5
- Neither team is having any trouble putting up points, it’s only a question of who will get more stops. For a game where the two teams are averaging a combined 90 points, the O/U seems a bit low.
New Mexico vs New Mexico State: -13.5 New Mexico, O/U 54.5
- The in-state battle should have more intensity this season, with both teams off to good starts and identical 2-1 records. This line thinks it will be a close, but comfortable win for the Lobos.
Hawaii vs Air Force: -4.5 Air Force, O/U 53.5
- Both teams are coming off losses, but there isn’t much confidence in the Falcons, who are only projected to be slight favorites at home.
Boise State vs App State: -17.5 Boise State, O/U 59.5
- The Broncos are heavy favorites at home this week against a struggling App State team. On one hand, it would not be a surprise to see the line move further up as the week goes on. On the other hand, perhaps oddsmakers have seen enough of the struggling pass defense for Boise State.
Colorado State vs Washington State: -4.5, O/U 50.5
- Both teams are struggling recently heading into this one. It could turn into more of a pick ‘em, but the Rams get a slight advantage for being at home. It appears this one will be relatively low-scoring.
San Jose State: +1.5, O/U 48.5
- The Spartans finally got their first win of the season last week and look to make it two in a row. They will take on Stanford, who already lost to fellow MW team Hawaii earlier in the year. The line makes it seem like it will be a close, low-scoring affair. This game might be one of the Sickos.
