Lamine Yamal has sent a fresh message to Real Madrid fans ahead of El Clasico on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Barcelona’s teenage star has already wound up Los Blancos with some pre-match comments which have led to speculation Dani Carvajal wants a word with the youngster.
Yamal has now posted another update on social media that likely won’t go down well in the Spanish capital. He’s posted a picture of himself celebrating in front of Real Madrid fans on Instagram.
The focus will surely be on Yamal
on Sunday, even though both managers have tried to played down his words ahead of the game.
Barca assistant Marcus Sorg said at his pre-match press conference: “Lamine is a top player, and I think it will be motivating for him. We hope we see him tomorrow giving his best performance.”
Xabi Alonso was also asked about Yamal but didn’t want to talk about the Barca star.
He said only: “It’s an important enough game. The important thing is what happens on the pitch, and what we have ahead of us tomorrow, and how we want to play. That’s what most concerns me.”
