The TCU Horned Frogs will welcome their second-leading receiver back for the 2026 season. Redshirt junior wideout Jordan Dwyer announced on Wednesday that he will return next season after posting 730 receiving
yards and seven touchdowns on 54 catches this season. Dwyer, who transferred in from Idaho, ranked second on the team in receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns and yards per reception (13.6), trailing only All-American and All-Big 12 First Team honoree Eric McAlister, who has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft. With McAlister departing, Dwyer will have an opportunity to become TCU’s No. 1 wide receiver for the 2026 season.
Dwyer shined in his TCU debut, going for a season-high 136 yards and one touchdown on nine receptions in the team’s lopsided victory against North Carolina. The 6-foot, 190-pounder from Puyallup, Washington eclipsed the 100-yard receiving mark three times in 2025, catching seven passes for 111 yards and a score against Baylor and reeling in 11 passes for 108 yards and a score against Iowa State. Prior to arriving in Fort Worth, Dwyer spent three years at Idaho, where he posted 1,192 yards and 12 touchdowns on 78 receptions during the 2024 season.
Dwyer will be the top returning receiver for the Horned Frogs, who have added South Alabama transfer Jeremy Scott in the portal this offseason. In addition to McAlister, TCU will be looking to replace third-leading receiver Joseph Manjack IV, who finished with 44 catches for 579 yards and three touchdowns in 2025. Dwyer headlines a talented cast of returning players that includes freshmen Dozie Ezukanma, Terry Shelton and Ed Small.
