As the male loanees prepare for the upcoming international break, they had one more week of club action. Ibrahimović had a rare day off, Wellmann had another great performance in goal, and Fernández had a match-winning assist a fellow loanee. See what everyone did this week and if the loanee was called into a national team for the upcoming international break:
FC Bayern Munich
Germany – Bundesliga
Arijon Ibrahimović is the only player on loan in the Bundesliga.
Arijon Ibrahimović – FC Augsburg
After starting the first two matches since joining Augsburg on loan and scoring
a goal in one match, Ibrahimović was on the bench for Augsburg’s 3-2 loss away to Werder Bremen and did not make it onto the pitch.
Augsburg will host Bayern on October 10 — after the international break. Ibrahimović has been called into the Germany Under 21 squad for U-21 Euro Qualifiers against Latvia, Malta, and Georgia.
Spain – LaLiga
Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga.
Bryan Zaragoza – Espanyol
Zaragoza started for Espanyol at home against Elche. He had two shots — both on goal — and created a chance for his teammates to shoot. He left the match in the 67th minute with his team down 2-0, despite the away team going down to ten men in the sixth minute. Both teams scored after he was subbed off and Espanyol fell 3-1 at home.
Espanyol will travel to face Málaga on October 9.
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
Felipe Chávez is the only player on loan from the first team to Germany’s 2. Bundesliga.
Felipe Chávez – 1. FC Magdeburg
Chávez started on the bench for Magdeburg away to Greuther Fürth. He entered the match in the 66th minute when the match was level at 1-1. He had one shot — blocked — in just 15 touches he had in the 24 minutes on the field. He was unable to influence the match in any other way. The match ended level at 1-1.
Magdeburg will host Hannover 96 on October 10.
FC Bayern II
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
There are two players from the second team on loan to Germany’s 2. Bundesliga: Javier Fernández and Deniz Ofli.
Javier Fernández – 1. FC Nürnberg
Fernández started for Nürnberg against Karlsruher SC and lined up against fellow loanee, Deniz Ofli. He assisted the lone goal of the match in the 30th minute. He also had one shot — blocked — and completed 92%% of his passes. Fernández also helped the defense keep a shutout by tracking back on defense with a tackle, a blocked shot, three clearances, an interception, and six recoveries. The match ended in a 1-0 away win for Nürnberg.
Nürnberg will host Wolfsburg on October 10. Fernández was called up to the Spain U-21 team for the U-21 EURO Qualifiers against Finland, San Marino, and Romania.
Deniz Ofli – Karlsruher SC
Ofli started for KSC and and also played the full 90 minutes against Fernández and Nürnberg. He had one shot — off target — but made most of his contributions on defense. He helped hold Nürnberg to just one goal with four tackles, four clearances, and six recoveries. He also received a yellow card for a bad foul in the first half. The match ended in a 1-0 loss at home.
KSC will travel to Hamburg to face St. Pauli on October 11. Ofli was called up to the Türkiye U-21 team for the U-21 EURO qualifiers against Ukraine and Hungary.
Germany – 3. Liga
Richard Meier is the only player on loan to Germany’s 3. Liga.
Richard Meier – SV Meppen
Meier started for Meppen away to Hoffenheim II. He was unable to help his team find a goal in the first half and was subbed off at halftime down 1-0. Meppen was unable to find a goal in the second half and fell by that score for the fourth straight defeat.
Meppen will host Stuttgart II on October 10.
Austria – Bundesliga
Magnus Dalpiaz is the only player on loan to Austria’s Bundesliga.
Magnus Dalpiaz – TSV Hartberg
Dalpiaz started for Hartberg and played the full 90 minutes at home against LASK. He had one shot — blocked from distance — but only completed half of his pass attempts. On defense, he recorded a blocked shot, four clearances, an interception, and two recoveries. Both teams scored three points and Hartberg settled for a high-scoring draw at home.
Hartberg will host Austria Lustenau on October 11.
Spain – LaLiga2
Julien Yanda is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga2.
Julien Yanda – Eldense
Yanda was on the bench for Eldense’s 2-1 home loss against Eibar but did not make it into the match.
Eldense will travel to face Burgos CF on this coming Sunday.
FC Bayern Frauen
Spain – Primera División Femenina
Anna Wellmann is the only player on loan to Spain’s Primera División Femenina.
Anna Wellmann – SD Eibar
Wellmann was in goal again for Eibar at home against Athletic Club Bilbao. She was able to shake off her four conceded goals last week with another stellar performance that led to a shutout for her team. She recorded six saves and was the highest rated player for either team. Eibar scored one goal to earn a 1-0 win at home.
Eibar will travel to face Sevilla on Sunday.
