Eric Garcia has admitted he’s feeling “sad and angry” about being ruled out for 3-4 weeks with a thigh injury for Barcelona.
The defender scored in Saturday’s win over Real Betis in La Liga but was forced off at the end with a thigh injury and will now miss some key fixtures for his team.
Garcia has responded to the setback on social media and admits it’s a tough pill to swallow.
“Yesterday was a great day for the team. Winning on the Betis pitch is never easy and we achieved a very important victory,”
he posted on Instagram.
“But football has these things and now I have to stop for a few days, just when matches come that we all want to play always. It makes me angry and sad that I can’t be there, but I’ll work my best to come back as soon as possible.
“Thank you for your support, culers We’ll see you all soon! Go Barca all the way!”
Barcelona will also be without Jules Kounde for the midweek trip to PSG, meaning Hansi Flick will have to shuffle his pack for the game with the defending European champions.
Get well soon, Eric.
