The Seattle Seahawks are on the road in Week 3, set to take on the Washington Commanders in the first of just two scheduled 10am starts.
Sam Darnold is set to lead the Seahawks offense just over two weeks since suffering what many initially feared might be a serious injury early on in the season-opening win over the New England Patriots.
While Darnold is set to return, the defense will be without both starting safeties, as Julian Love is out with a calf injury, while a hamstring has prevented Ty Okada
from seeing the field so far this season. Those injuries forced the team to look to the practice squad to add depth this week, signing Rodney Thomas from the practice squad to the active roster and then elevating Maxen Hook Saturday afternoon.
The full list of inactives is:
- QB Jalen Milroe (emergency QB)
- WR Montorie Foster
- NT Brandon Pili
- LB Connor O’Toole
- CB Avery Smith
- S Ty Okada
- S Julian Love
