An AFC West matchup is always fun, but an undefeated team taking on a winless group is not exactly what people want to invest time into.
A little over a calendar year ago, Justin Herbert and Patrick Mahomes squared off Week One in Brazil. It was a heck of a game that the Chargers managed to end in style with Herbert sliding in emphatic fashion after recording the game-clinching first down with his legs. That win looked like the launching off point for the Bolts becoming their best selves. They defeated
the Chiefs and Herbert played magnificently to begin year two of the Jim Harbaugh.
Fast forward to now and the team is still looking for their first win in Week Six while Herbert looks like a completely different player, physically and mentally.
I don’t know what this week will bring for the Chargers, but something tells me we’re going to have plenty more to talk about Monday morning.
Enjoy the game, everyone!
