The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana travel to the Spanish capital for a monster La Liga game away to Atlético Madrid, and Hansi Flick has called up the following 23 players for Sunday’s clash:
Goalkeepers: Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczesny, Dominik Livakovic
Defenders: João Cancelo, Alejandro Balde, Pau Cubarsí, Andreas Christensen, Gerard Martín, Eric Garcia, Álex Campos
Midfielders: Brian Fariñas, Gavi, Fermín López, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Bernal, Ebrima Tunkara
Forwards: Gabriel
Jesus, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Karim Adeyemi, Anthony Gordon, Hamza Abdelkarim
Barça get two key pieces back for this one as Eric Garcia (quad) and Andreas Christensen (quad) have been cleared to return after missing around a month through injury. But another key starter is out as Rodri will not play due to a hamstring issue, joining Xavi Espart (ankle), Dani Olmo (groin), Jules Kounde (ankle) and Roony Bardghji (knee) on the list of absences.
Predicted starting XI (4-2-3-1):
Joan; Fariñas, Cubarsí, Martín, Cancelo; De Jong, Pedri; Yamal, Fermín, Gordon; Raphinha
The match kicks off at 9pm CET/WAT (Barcelona & Nigeria), 8pm GMT (UK), 3pm ET, 12pm PT (USA), 1.30am IST (India, Monday), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
