After wrapping up Victory Road last Friday — replay still available at TrillerTV — TNA remained in Canada to tape future episodes of Impact Wrestling. The episodes shot in Edmonton, Alberta’s Expo Center
on Saturday (Sept. 27) will build to the promotion’s big Bound For Glory PPV in just two weeks.
The title change referenced in the headline was actually supposed to take place at Victory Road. It seemed like it might land on the BFG card when it was bumped off last week’s streaming special because of the sad news that Ash By Elegance’s Knockouts title reign (and, based on her promo, possibly her career) is over. But The IInspiration’s Knockouts Tag title match against Ash’s followers Heather and M by Elegence happened at the taping.
It will also happen on Oct. 12 on PPV, but this time Cassie Lee and Jessica McCay will be defending.
The Elegances came into Saturday with the belts, but The IInspiration ended the night with as TNA’s women’s tag team titleholders for the second time. The duo previously known in WWE as Peyton Royce and Billie Kay of The IIconics just got back together in the ring earlier this year after taking a few years off to start/grow their families. Lee and McCay returned to TNA in June.

- AJ Francis insulted Myron Reed during a Fir$t Cla$$ Penthouse segment. He also tried to chokeslam him through a table, but Reed evaded and dove onto AJ.
- Dani Luna def. Jody Threat
- The System def. The Rascalz, The Great Hands, and Sinner & Saint in a 4-way tag match.
- A Frankie Kazarian King’s Speech segment set up Kazarian, Trick Williams, & Kelani Jordan vs. Matt Hardy, Leon Slater, and Indi Hartwell. Williams also revealed during the segment that if Santana touches him before Bound for Glory, their TNA World title match is off.
- Matt Hardy, Leon Slater, and Indi Hartwell defe. Kazarian, Trick Williams, & Kelani Jordan via pinfall (Slater pinned Kaz)
- Tommy Dreamer told Team TNA about the Invasion show with NXT and vowed that if they want a war, he “will bring you a fucking war”.
- The Iinspiration def. The Elegance Brand to win the TNA Knockouts Tag Team championship
- The Angel Warriors def. Ava Lawless & Kat Von Heez
- Nic Nemeth def. Hometown Man
- Alisha Edwards def. Tasha Steelz
- Trick Williams and Mike Santana promo-ed on each other with Trick in the ring and Santana in the crowd.
- Matt Cardona def. Ryan Nemeth, but the Nemeths still have the mask they stole from The Hometown Man at Victory Road
- We learn The Iinspiration will defend against The Elegance Brand at Bound for Glory
- Indi Hartwell and Kelani Jordan had a contract signing segment, but no one got physical and it looks like a face vs. face build.
- Zero 4 def. The System after Ali pinned JDC.
- Leon Slater cut a Bound for Glory promo
- Eric Young def. Joe Hendry in a No DQ match after piledriving him onto a chair
- Moose vs. Ridge Holland ended early when Holland appeared to injure his ankle. Moose helped carry him to the back.
- Santana def. Cedric Alexander in the main event.
