Ferran Torres has completed a move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in a transfer worth around €50 million and one that means the No. 7 shirt is now vacant at Camp Nou.
The jersey has had many famous owners over the years including players such as David Villa, Pedro, Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann.
Torres’s departure means that there will be a new face in the No. 7 shirt for the 2026-27 season and there’s a few contenders.
Fermin Lopez is being tipped as one player who could take over the
jersey and switch from his current No. 16, per Diario Sport. The 16 could then go to Rodri if he completes his move from Manchester City.
Anthony Gordon is another option, according to the report, following his summer switch from Newcastle to Barcelona.
