The Big 12 Conference has unveiled the 2026-27 Monster Energy Big 12 Basketball league schedules for both the Iowa State men’s and women’s basketball programs on Thursday, establishing an 18-game conference slate for each team.

Iowa State will open Monster Energy Big 12 play at home against defending conference champion Arizona on Jan. 2 as the conference slate was announced.
The first Big 12 road game will take place on Jan. 5 at Colorado, followed by another home contest on Jan. 9 versus Oklahoma
State.
The first of three back-to-back road games will happen on Jan. 13 at Houston and Jan. 16 at Texas Tech. The other two road matchups will be at West Virginia on Feb. 6 and at Oklahoma State on Feb. 10, and at Arizona State on Feb. 19 and at Baylor on Feb. 23.
The Cyclones host BYU on Jan. 20 at Hilton Coliseum. After a road date at UCF on Jan. 23, Iowa State will play consecutive home games against Kansas State on Jan. 30 and Utah on Feb. 2.
Following the West Virginia and Oklahoma State road games, Iowa State will host Kansas on Feb. 13 and Cincinnati on Feb. 16.
TCU visits Hilton Coliseum on Feb. 27, and Iowa State hits the road to face Kansas on March 1 for one of ESPN’s Big Monday games. The final home game of the regular season will be against West Virginia on March 6.

Iowa State women’s basketball will open its Monster Energy Big 12 schedule at Kansas State on Dec. 19 as the conference slate was announced.
The first Monster Energy Big 12 home game will take place on Dec. 30 against TCU for the team’s final action of the 2026 calendar year.
The first of two back-to-back road games will happen on Jan. 3 at Arizona and Jan. 6 at Arizona State. The second road trip will be at Kansas on Jan. 20 and at West Virginia on Jan. 23.
The Cyclones host Oklahoma State on Jan. 9 and Kansas State on Jan. 16. After hosting Houston on Jan. 27 and a road date at Baylor on Jan. 30, Iowa State will play consecutive home games against Texas Tech on Feb. 3 and Colorado on Feb. 6.
Following a road contest at Cincinnati on Feb. 10, Iowa State will host BYU on Feb. 13 and Utah on Feb. 17 before hitting the road at UCF on Feb. 20.
Kansas visits Hilton Coliseum on Feb. 24 for the final home game of the year, and the final road trip of the regular season will be at Oklahoma State on Feb. 27.
