And just like that, we’re barreling toward the first month’s end of the regular season. Seems like it was just yesterday that the Detroit Lions’ window had closed, the Green Bay Packers were an invincible
juggernaut, and the Kansas City Chiefs were dead on arrival. A month from now, let’s see if Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts are still the most surprising story in football. Something we won’t need to check back on is the New Orleans Saints, but please, do check on a Saints fan in the meantime.
As we have done in past seasons, our staff will be making weekly predictions for every game on the NFL schedule. Each of the Pride of Detroit staff will pick the moneyline (winner of the game, no spread), but some of the members will also pick against the spread and even the over/under lines—there’s an easy-to-use toggle button in the widget below to cycle through the settings and in the week’s ahead, check out our records when it comes to making picks. You can also check out all of the odds for this week’s games courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
For the second week in a row, Thursday’s matchup will feature a pair of division rivals squaring off at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime; the Seattle Seahawks travel to the desert to take on the Arizona Cardinals in a battle of two NFC West teams sitting at 2-1 through three weeks.
On Sunday, the NFL has 13 games scheduled, and the International Series is back on the slate. Over on NFL Network at 9:30 a.m. ET, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings will meet at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland—in case you didn’t get enough of the Vikings beating up on Aaron Rodgers across the pond last year.
After some eggs and toast—hold the beans, you maniacs—the local Detroit audience will have a couple of options in the (less) early 1 p.m. slot. On CBS, the Washington Commanders take on the Atlanta Falcons at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia. During the same time on FOX, the local market will get the hometown Detroit Lions taking on the Cleveland Browns from Ford Field. In the late window, CBS has a marquee matchup between two premier teams looking to avoid 1-3 starts when the Kansas City Chiefs welcome the Baltimore Ravens to Arrowhead Stadium for a 4:25 p.m. ET start time.
“Sunday Night Football” rounds out a long day of football with Micah Parsons’ return to the Lone Star State: the Green Bay Packers versus the Dallas Cowboys at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC.
ESPN is back to overloading their Monday nights with two games instead of one. “Monday Night Football” kicks off at 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN when the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins have a chance to move off their winless records. An hour later, at 8:15 p.m. ET, the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Colorado for a matchup with the Denver Broncos on ABC.
Here is who our staff is picking on the moneyline, spread, and over/under for all 16 games on the NFL Week 4 schedule:
